Catkins was foaled on 11 Sept 2009 and Catkins was one of my favourite grey mares affectionately know as “Kitty Cat”. She used to race in barbie pink colours!! This painting is based on photos I took in the stables at Rosehill Racecourse before she went out to win the Group 2 NSW Breeders Classic on 7 Feb 2015.
She is now retired and on the way to being a successful brood mare having delivered a foal by Medaglia d’Oro.
