FOR SALE.   

This painting is of a beautiful brown colt that I fell in love with at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale in April 2013.   I only know him as Lot 338 at the moment but I am really looking forward to finding out his name when the syndicate announces it.

I don’t often do this but below I have placed an image of my painting (on the left) next to the reference photo (on the right) that I took at the sales. I am very happy how the oil paints were able to bring out the sheen and texture of 338’s coat.

338 was purchased by Laurel Oak Bloodstock P/L in Sydney, so I will hopefully see him racing in a little while.
