This is London Bridge the racehorse. I hope you like this equine artwork as much as I liked painting this work. It’s of London Bridge winning the 2800 metre (1 3/4 mile) Breeders’ Cup Marathon in 2013 Santa Anita Park in USA when he was a three year old, the youngest in the race. The painting was a surprise birthday present for his owner Paul Fudge of Waratah Thoroughbreds.
London Bridge is a 5 year old bay stallion and retired from raceing. He is now standing in Australia at Ridgeview Park Thoroughbred Stud in Victoria.
If you would like to see a great horse race and want to hear the American way of calling the race, check out the video at this link – -it is really worth the look!!!.
