This oil painting is based on photos I took of Chautauqua at Randwick coming back to the post after winning the 2016 Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick (1200m) with Tommy Berry. It was an incredible race with Chautauqua coming from last to beat Fell Swoop and English – a video of the race is here
